Creating order out of the rescue chaos

For more than two decades, rescuing animals has not just been a passion, it has been a way of life. We step up for the ones nobody else wants. From fur to feathers to scales, welcome to the family.

Looking for a home

Every rescue animal is quarantined, checked and established on food before it is listed. Applications are reviewed by a person, not a form.

No animals are listed for adoption right now. New intakes are posted here once they clear quarantine.

A lifetime of devotion

Dedicated to the 3 Amigos

Our work is fuelled by heavy heartaches and beautiful victories. Everything we do here is dedicated to the memory and success of our guiding stars.

Dusky

Rainbow Bridge · Jan 3, 2026

Our beautiful 16-year-old black cat who crossed the rainbow bridge in our arms. His long, graceful life reminds us every day of the quiet, deep companionship we work to secure for elderly animals.

Dobby

Rainbow Bridge · Nov 28, 2025

Our brave 9-year-old Terrier Doodle who gave us one final, unforgettable hug before we freed him from his battle with doggy dementia. His bravery is at the core of our commitment to special-needs animals.

Bo Bo

Success story

An abandoned, severely matted poodle found running wild. After a five-hour shave and months of rehabilitation he spent three loving years with Dobby before finding his forever home, where he now lives as a pampered prince in dapper bow ties.

What we do

Rehabilitation, quarantine and coordination

Extra-care rehabilitation

We specialise in animals that need a little, or a lot, of rehabilitation, medical care, patience and love. Behavioural cases and complex medical conditions are not turned away.

Strict quarantine

To protect our residents and the community, every incoming animal goes straight into a dedicated, isolated quarantine area before it meets anyone else.

Wildlife liaison

Found a wild animal in distress? Reach out and we will act as the liaison to secure it safely and coordinate with licensed local wildlife rehabilitators.

We are strictly non-venomous while we work on the state certifications for venomous species.

Help keep the lights and the heat lamps on

Rodents, vet visits and enclosures are paid for out of pocket. Donations go straight to the animals.
